The range of machines designed for automatic classification and sorting of different glass types according to their chemical composition by using the X-ray technique.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The material to be sorted is fed with a vibratory conveyor and then accelerating belt conveyor. The X-ray sensor system immediately detects and determines location of a contaminant. The signal is processed by the controller equipped with data evaluation electronics that activates the suitable nozzle of the integrated ejection system. As a result a contaminant is removed with very little loss of good material from the material stream.
