INTENDED USE OF MAGNETIC SEPARATOR

Magnetic separator type STM is intended for suspension over a belt conveyor to purify a transported material from tramp ferrous metals. The separator is used to protect of crushing machines and shredders from permanent damage caused by any undesirable pieces of hard metal and also to recover valuable ferrous scrap.
The permanent magnet installed in the separator does not consume electrical energy and works with maximum efficiency all the time, which constitutes its advantage over electromagnet based solutions. Maximum suspension height over a belt conveyor is 400 mm.

VERSIONS

• PMT type magnetic block with a rubber flap for manual removal of captured metals.
• STM type separator with cleated belt driven by geared motor for automatic removal of captured metals.
• STM / VA type separator made of acid resistant steel intended for operation in aggressive environment.
• STM / H type separator with hydraulic Danfoss drive intended for installation at mobile crushers.
• STE / EX type separator with ATEX certificate, designed for installation in explosion endangered zones: mines, power plants and chemical plants.
