Magnetic separators | Over-belt electromagnetic separator (STE)
INTENDED USE
The electromagnetic separator type STE is intended for suspension over a belt conveyor to purify a transported material from tramp ferrous metals. The separator is used to protect of crushing machines and shredders from permanent damage caused by any undesirable pieces of hard metal and also to recover valuable ferrous scrap. The STE separator is adapted to harsh operating conditions where the highest magnetic efficiency is required. Maximum suspension height over a belt conveyor is 720 mm.
VERSIONS
Electromagnetic block type SE for cleaning raw materials containing small quantities of metals. Removal of captured metals from the block is carried out by disconnection of power supply.
Separator type STE / OIL is oil cooled, designed for severe operating conditions and characterised by the highest efficiency.
Separator type STE / EX - with ATEX certificate, designed for installation in explosion endangered zones: mines, power plants and chemical plants.
