Lifting magnets | Round lifting magnet (EO)
 

INTENDED USE

Round lifting magnet type EO generate high range magnetic field and is intended for lifting and transport of ferrous scrap of various density. Lifting magnet is also used for transporting slabs, billets, castings and demolition balls.
Toroidal lifting magnet with 6 or 8 coils is intended for lifting sheet or wire coils with vertical axis. Lifting magnets facilitate handling steel in steelworks, seaports, sidings, foundrys, breaker’s yards and other plants, where speed of handling is essential.

TYPES OF ROUND LIFTING MAGNETS

  • WELDED STRUCTURE TYPE EOS
    The lifting magnet type EOS feature casing made of high permeability steel hidden arc welded. The structure is impact resistant and intended for transport of bulk mill  products and ferrous scrap. Advantage of EOS type lifting magnet is easy to repair in case of damage.
  • CAST STRUCTURE TYPE EOR
    The lifting magnet type EOR feature casing made of deeply ribbed cast steel for strenght and efficient cooling. The structure is impact resistant and intended for transport of bulk mill products and ferrous scrap. Advantage of EOR type lifting magnet is the safe life in hard conditions.
  • HEAVY DUTY STRUCTURE TYPE EOR ... HD
    The lifting magnet type EOR...HD feature casing made of heavy duty steel cast design for extreme operating conditions.
