INTENDED USE

Rectangular lifting magnet type EP, depending on the type of operation, is available in 1, 2, 3 or 4-field version. 1-field version is similar to the round lifting magnet with a single active magnetic pole (core). 1-field lifting magnet is intended for lifting slabs, castings, thick sheets and sheet packs. 2-field lifting magnet with two active poles is intended for lifting blooms. Equipped with special pole shoes can be used for lifting round bars with various radius and sheet coils or wire coils with horizontal axis. 3-field lifting magnet with three active poles is intended for lifting bundles of bars, sections, pipes and thin sheets. Lifting magnets mounted on the common cross-beam are adapted for lifting long sheets, reinforced bars, rails and sections with 18 m lenght.

• Straight or telescopic cross-beam enables lifting of materials of different length
• Remote control from the gantry operator control panel

• 2 or 4-string, class 8 chain lifting slings ended with a lug for installation at the gantry hook (safety factor of min. K=4).
